CREA DDF EXPLAINED

CREA has created the Data Distribution Facility or DDF

This is a service that distributes Listing data to websites for various purposes. To access this, you can go to CREA's DDF site link (sent in separate email)

For AGENTS

Member website feed - level 1 gives agents back their listings (our service will use this if none others are available)
Member website feed - level 2 gives shared office listings (our service will use this if none others are available)
Member website feed - level 3 gives shared office listings and more (our service will not use this)

For BROKERAGES

Member website feed - ALL OFFICES - this includes all of your Brokerage listings and is to be used for your OFFICE website service. RealtySitesPLUS uses this basis to distribute listings to agents in your Brokerage ** This is the only feed that we are working with currently

AGENTS & BROKERAGES - NATIONAL POOLS

National Shared Pool - this includes all shared properties across Canada for all franchises. This can be filtered down to your area to limit the display of less needed listings. (IE Toronto doesn't necessarily want to display Halifax listings). Additional "shared" information is required on these listings, which include a reference to the listing brokerage (not clickable) *** Still slightly problematic in our system currently as self promotion, and inconsistant board data that needs to be resolved. Although we are close, this still needs a bit of work before we can release this service.

National Franchise Pool - this includes all of your Franchise listings (for single franchise). This is to be used for your OFFICE website service while displaying shared data from other offices across Canada. The purpose behind this service is to enable brand loyalty, create referral network, etc. (IE for relocation services)
